Dr. Szuszczewicz completed his undergraduate degree at the College of William and Mary. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia. His post-graduate training included a surgical internship at the University of Colorado, and a research fellowship in adult hip and knee surgical reconstruction at Harbor-UCLA. Dr. Szuszczewicz completed his orthopaedic surgical residency at Tulane University, followed by a clinical fellowship in hip and knee replacement surgery at the Anderson Orthopaedic Research Institute in Alexandria, Virginia. Numerous papers from Dr. Szuszczewicz’s work at Harbor-UCLA, Tulane have been published, and as a result of his AORI fellowship he was awarded the prestigious Charnley Award for his research in hip replacement surgery. Dr. Szuszczewicz has completed additional training in minimally invasive hip and knee replacement surgery as well as uni-compartmental, or partial, knee replacement surgery.
