The Women’s Clinic of Northern Colorado’s mission is to provide women excellent care in a caring, comfortable environment throughout the continuum of their lives. Formerly The Fort Collins Women’s Clinic it was founded in 1970 and has supported the women of the community with excellence improving the lives of its patients and families with the motto:

While the Women’s Clinic of today looks very different from the clinic of 40 years ago the friendly, helpful, knowledgeable attitude remains the same and has been embraced by generations of providers and staff.

Growing with our community, we have expanded with beautiful offices in Fort Collins and Loveland, serving the Front Range from Longmont to Cheyenne, WY and east to Scottsbluff, NE and west to Hayden, CO. We provide OB/GYN services at Poudre Valley Hospital, Medical Center of the Rockies, and Surgery Center of Fort Collins. Our offices are designed to provide privacy and comfort, as we realize that sometimes going to the doctor can be stressful.

With 23 unique providers, we offer a diverse choice satisfying the preferences women express when it comes to the very personal experiences involved in women’s health care. We offer both male and female Medical Doctors, Certified Nurse Midwives, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants. Regardless of provider, our practitioners stay on the cutting edge of women’s health issues offering the very best healthcare in a warm, friendly setting.

As a Women’s Clinic we understand the busy schedules of our female patients in today’s fast-paced world. We are and continually looking for ways to provide better local services, bringing best practices and valuable procedures to our community. Our providers were first to provide amniocentesis and high risk obstetrics in Fort Collins so patients didn’t have to travel to Denver at this delicate time in life. We were also the first to train and adopt GYN robotic surgeries, and in-office hysteroscopic Essure permanent sterilization. In addition, we host a free breast screening clinic every October to help the women of Larimer County in need.

Under the direction of Dr. Brad Stern, The Women’s Clinic, has partnered with Sarah Cannon Research Institute to assist in research studies that bring real solutions to women’s health issues.

The Women’s Clinic offers in house Digital Mammography, Bone Density, OB and GYN Ultrasound, Genetic Counseling, all with qualified certified technicians who care about the quality that all our patients have come to expect.

When visiting the Women’s Clinic you will find helpful and friendly staff committed to supporting your needs. We participate with most insurance plans and are one of the few clinics’ offering financial counseling for patients who find themselves in difficult financial situations. Our counselors often find patients just need some help understanding their insurance – we are here to help!

We have recently redesigned our website, FCWC.com and invite our patients to sign up for the wonderful pre and post birth classes offered in addition to other women’s health related seminars. It’s truly a work in progress.
